Susan Spann is distraught! A ninja (shinobi in Japanese) stole the cover to her RAD debut novel, CLAWS OF THE CAT, a historical murder mystery set in 16th century Japan.  I hold the final clue to the missing cover–ORCHIDS, a sign of respect in Japan bestowed to an opponent when you have bested them in competition.

If you missed Clue #1, click HERE  for Tammy Slayer’s blog, and for Clue #2 Julianne Douglas’s blog. To unlock the mystery to the FINAL COVER REVEAL, you must visit Susan Spann’s blog tomorrow. Leave a comment for a chance to win a $20 gift card to  Barnes & Noble. I know you all want to start holiday shopping–don’t miss out!

Believe me when I say, you SHOULDN’T MISS this debut. Susan’s provocative cultural details and tension-filled narrative will keep you up late turning pages!

BLURB FOR CLAWS OF THE CAT

When a samurai is brutally murdered in a Kyoto teahouse, master ninja Hiro Hattori has just three days to find the killer before the dead man’s vengeful son kills both the beautiful geisha accused of the crime and Father Mateo, the Jesuit priest that Hiro has pledged his own life to protect. The investigation plunges Hiro and Father Mateo into the dangerous waters of Kyoto’s floating world, where they quickly learn that everyone from an elusive teahouse owner to the dead man’s dishonored brother has a motive to keep the samurai’s death a mystery.

Thank you so much for hosting Day 3 of the Cover Reveal Tour Heather! Here’s hoping everyone else loves the final cover as much as I do!

I love these sneak peeks. And never knew that about orchids…the fact that I often give them as housewarming presents means I am apparently being passive aggressive! 😉

  3. Deirdre

Ditto -how fun the sneak peeks are! What a clever way to promote…happy weekend!
